Larry Burch, Owner, Agent

Larry Burch worked as young adult under men who influenced him with their integrity and generosity. He emulates his father's motto to “Be a giver not a taker.” He's 100% committed to giving his best service and being honest. He won't quit until the job is done. Just ask his son.

 

“I remember one time fixing a corner post on a piece of rental property,” Will says. “While Dad was tamping the dirt back into the ground, I asked him why he was going to all that trouble for land that wasn't his own. He said, 'Because good work is good work. No matter how long you have it, leave it better than you found it.' My dad is that way about everything.”

           

About the same time he got started in the insurance business, Larry began working with stock dogs. As a Border Collie trainer, he learned how to read signals and watch how an animal will respond to good or bad treatment. “If you treat them bad or are disingenuous, they'll see right through it,” Larry says. “It's the same way with people.” Teaching a dog to herd sheep through a series of obstacles is pretty similar to navigating the world of insurance products. Someone has to know the course and have the knowledge and patience to guide the other through it. Larry goes above and beyond the call of duty with hands-on, 24-hour-a-day service, working with companies wanting to help him help his customers.

 

Don't let his towering stature fool you. According to Will, “He treats every little lady like his momma and every kid like his own.” Service, service, service is what you'll get from Larry Burch, the expert who sets people at ease and sells to their needs.

Denise Burch is the heart of the agency. Having worked previously at a state license bureau office, Denise learned how to practice great patience, even when customers were unfriendly. She knows how to handle the hassles, calm the storms and make everyone feel comfortable. If a customer has questions, a deadline or a problem, the Office Manager is on the case, directing you to the right agent for your needs.

Will Burch, Owner, Agent

Will Burch is a graduate of the University of Missouri with a degree in Agriculture Business Management. He's followed in his father's footsteps not only in the insurance business, but he is pretty near big enough to fill his shoes. Will employed his size on the football field and basketball court in his younger years where athletics taught him a lot about what it takes to become a team to accomplish the ultimate goal. Today, those lessons are foundational to the way he conducts business.

 

“You have to set yourself apart from the competition by being thorough and caring about people,” he says. “Family is important to us and so is community. We try and treat people like we try and protect our family.”

           

Will's passion, confidence and competitive spirit depend on fundamental preparations. Here he gains the winning edge by staying abreast of new companies and their rates.

 

“He's our go-to guy and figures about 70 percent of our rating,” says Larry, “calculating product costs and making sure quotes are accurate. A lot goes through Will.”

Jamie Liles, Owner, Agent

Perhaps the sincere diligence of Jamie Liles is the by-product of years in youth organizations like 4-H and FFA, learning to serve others and look out for her peers. On the job, her eager attention evokes thorough product knowledge, ever looking out for someone to make sure they are not improperly insured.

 

One meeting with Jamie and it's easy to see why she is both loved and revered. At 35 years of age, married and the mother of two, Jamie is living what she's selling and relates to customers at the heart level. “I have the same fears as they do,” Jamie says. “How is my family going to go on if something happens to me? If my customer is in an auto accident that hurts someone, how can I help them go through that struggle?” So she'll cover the things that are often overlooked like coverage on a newlywed's diamond ring or making sure that life insurance flows to that new spouse, or flood coverage is in place for a young couple's brand new basement.

 

A degree in Agriculture Marketing and Sales from Missouri State University and former experience as a bank commercial loan certifier with US BANK, Jamie has learned to be a critical thinker. 

 

“I have never seen anybody get up to speed as she does,” says her dad Larry. “She does lots of studying and figures something until she gets it right.”

Jared Liles, Owner

“Give him a minute or two, and you can't help but like him,” says Jamie. Jared Liles is a people person through and through, and that's only one of the many reasons Jamie married him. Jared grew up in neighboring Vernon County with the same kind of love and service for community.

 

As a Jones Twine and Net Wrap INC salesforce manager, he also has an insurance background with over 10 years in the industry. We like to refer to him as our “promoter” helping people with net wrap and mentioning insurance on the side.

 

He takes to heart helping others by also supporting area youth. Throughout the year, you'll find Jared involved with 4-H, FFA and the Vernon County Fair. He's a good fit with the Burch family, sharing in their service-driven mindset to give his best and make friends in the process.
